Jeffrey Jay Niehaus is Senior Professor of Old Testament at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He has written a number of scholarly articles and books, including God at Sinai, Ancient Near Eastern Themes in Biblical Theology, a three-volume Biblical Theology, God the Poet: Exploring the Origin and Nature of Poetry, a three-volume work on Righteousness, and a monograph, When did Eve Sin?, as well as four volumes of poetry: Preludes: An Autobiography in Verse, Sonnets Subtropical and Existential, Sea Grapes and Sea Oats, and Sea Shells and Sand Castles. He is also the author of the novel, A Planet Almost Like Ours, and of the sequel, A Planet almost like Ours, Redux.
