The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to three children in Fatima, Portugal, over a period of a few months, early in the last century during the First World War. She revealed her life story to these children as it happened in the first century. She also told them how she had organized and directed the ministry of Jesus, according to the wishes of the Almighty, which ultimately ended in the crucifixion of her beloved son. Her life story to the children of Fatima included what took place during his ministry, the trial before the Sanhedrin, and the trial before Pontius Pilate, giving a firsthand, eyewitness account of the life of Jesus.

In her revelations she told them that she had maintained a diary during her lifetime. In this, she had recorded daily events of her son’s ministry. She begged the children of Fatima to retrieve this diary which was last known to be in Rome. She wanted them to publish this diary, to let the world know what she had done to fulfil the requirements of the Almighty. On the day of the crucifixion, on that first Good Friday, she heard the cry of dereliction from her beloved son while standing at the foot of the cross. She and everyone else who were there, knew that the Almighty had rejected the sacrifice made by her son on the cross. She wondered if this was because his sacrifice was made outside His Holy Temple, on the place of the skull. While all other sacrifices to the Almighty were made in the temple by the priests of the temple.

The temple priests always followed the scriptures when conducting sacrifices to the Almighty on behalf of the faithful. They would make all things clean and holy before they were offered to the Almighty. This practice produced the desired results and the faithful continued to go to the temple to venerate and offer sacrifices to the Almighty. Even past kings of the Holy Land had gone to the temple to offer sacrifices to the Almighty and they were accepted by Him. The faithful never went to the Romans to offer sacrifices nor to perform any Jewish rituals. It was always in the Holy Temple. She had tried very hard to perform this crucifixion inside the Holy Temple on the altar, but failed.

She even told them how she had sent one of the disciples to request the Romans to crucify her beloved son on a new, clean, holy cross so that the Almighty will accept the sacrifice. This too failed as the Romans were not interested in these Jewish practices.

The children of Fatima embarked on a journey to recover her diary. The Blessed Mother guided them to Rome and while in Rome, she led them to the Temple of Vesta. Here in the temple, one of the children met a priestess of the temple. The encounter with the priestess of the temple was not friendly and as promised by the Blessed Mother, reciting the rosary helped in overcoming the danger.

After his crucifixion, she continued to direct the work of the disciples which led her to meet Saul of Tarsus, who was converted during his travel on the road to Damascus. On her ascension to heaven, she was heartbroken. She had tried many times to reveal this truth to the faithful on earth but failed. Her earliest recorded apparition was to Saint Gregory the Wonder Worker and thereafter to many others. She revealed to the children of Fatima the sad conditions in heaven, as she had revealed to all others during past apparitions. In all previous cases, her message had been distorted. The faithful were given a different message from what she had actually delivered at every apparition.
