The Ovoid is a Prose poem documenting the autobiographical quest of Rinaldo, alias Orion., the author, on a quest of self discovery and revealing in the process the intersection of our universe with another through the vehicle of a an ovoid body linking the two and the simultaneous discovery of love between two school teachers in Rinaldo's elementary school who by pursuing their mutual destinies disrupt the boundaries of our world and the after life into which one of which ascends as if on the wings of angels and what she discovers there. And along the way describing certain essential chapters of the author's internal and external adventures on the planet Earth during this current lifetime. Although not in classic "novel" form this work aspires to be "The Great American Novel" because if you were a scientist why wouldn't you expect to win the Nobel prize , and if you were a poet why wouldn't you aspire to be this generation's Walt Whitman or if a song writer why not to be Dylan's equal.
