So far, in books 1 through 6, we’ve traced Jesus in what He’s done for us, up to the day He was taken up to dwell at the right hand of the Father. This book, the 7th in the series Looking Unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of Our Faith, is going to delve into a little more about His ascension, go on to discuss His session at God’s right hand, and follow that with by looking at the mission of His Holy Spirit. As before, your attention will be to the object of our study, then discuss how you might perceive it. There are three objects, all wrapped around our Savior, Jesus Christ. 1. He ascended into heaven. 2. He sat down at God’s right hand. 3. He sent down the Holy Ghost, all of these activities directly impacted Jesus' overall goal of securing, sanctifying, and presenting God's people to the Father.
