It is a tragic statistical fact that most leaders in the Church do not finish well. Robert Clinton Fuller, the founder of Fuller Seminary put it at “less than one of three.” Less than one in three. I would like to address three principles that will help us to finish well as we reach the “Golden Years” of our life-assignment. Our models for these three principles will be Jesus and His servant, Paul.

The three principles are:

1. Do not retire, but leave a legacy until you die
2. Lighten up and don’t weigh yourself down
3. Look to Jesus and not religion
