In part I of the Elephant Tales Trilogy we met Portia, a vet fulfilling her dream to work in conservation in Africa. Part II is my love letter to Zambia, recalling visits and experiences, and where Portia's friend Charlotte discovers and builds a local band, Copper Connexions.
Now in part III, as we chart the progress of Copper Connexions on the international stage, Portia has to finally admit to her partner Kam what really happened whilst she was in Africa alone for a year, when the threats and blackmail become too much to take.
We meet some of the extended family too in this story of a snake and a bush wedding.
