owners Danielle and Billy take on the challenging task of hiring new people to staff the
stations – including Rae, a new-to-town hairdresser looking to put down roots with Rob,
her fiancé, and Jason, her young son.
The salon’s success seems unstoppable, until the employees begin to notice that
something is seriously amiss. Accidents are happening – serious ones. Receptionists,
hair stylists, and their clients begin looking over their shoulders and into each other's
business, trying to figure out what is causing the series of “mishaps.”
Rae and her fellow stylists start keeping tabs on some sketchy activities that Liz,
the manager, seems to be engaging in. Their sleuthing, together with the hard
work of some local detectives, stir up a deadly response.
This book is loosely based on a true story but with significant additions – including, but
not limited to, murder. Each character has been fictionalized to ensure their privacy and
anonymity.
