One man's secret is another man's motive for murder...

The big science-fiction convention has come to Glasgow and Mary Plunkett is living her best life. Amongst the colourful costumes, overpaid actors and nerdy merchandise, a killer is hiding. Being the first to discover the body, Mary is determined that her friends at the Wronged Women’s Co-operative will solve the crime before the local police force.

Meanwhile, in Invergryff a simple search for a missing father leads to a complex case where family secrets bubble up to the surface. With murders and complex personal issues to solve, life is never dull for the indomitable ladies of the WWC.
