The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution comprises over 3, 000 chapters located in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and International. Patriots Chapter is based in Sebring, Florida, and serves Highlands and Hardee counties. This book features a succinct history of Florida, documentation of Patriots Chapter's activities through the years, and documentation of our members’ patriot ancestors. All information is provided by the members and edited for uniformity by Patricia Althoff Bridewell. Some of our former members’ (Charter members) information is included, which has been gathered from their families or the information on DAR.org.
