We are living at a turning point in human history, where artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer a distant abstraction but a force shaping how people think, decide, and relate to one another. From the algorithms that guide what we consume to systems influencing decisions in hiring, education, and healthcare, AI has become a powerful driver of modern life. Yet for all its capabilities, AI cannot provide wisdom, purpose, or moral judgment, making the need for ethically grounded leadership more urgent than ever. As technology continues to transform institutions, it is increasingly clear that it is not value-neutral, but reflects human choices, biases, and visions of the future. This raises a critical question: who will shape the moral compass of leadership in the digital age? Leading With Faith and Ethics in an AI World advances a new paradigm for leadership development in the era of AI, one grounded in moral formation, servant leadership, and human flourishing. While technological skill and digital fluency are increasingly emphasized in education and leadership preparation, this work argues that ethical discernment, character, and service-oriented purpose must be treated as equally essential competencies for the 21st-century leader. Covering topics such as algorithmic leadership, spiritual leadership, and moral anchors, this book is a fundamental academic resource for graduate and doctoral students, instructional designers, academic leaders, AI engineers, machine learning engineers, philosophers, policymakers, and more.
