Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly reshaping language education, introducing new possibilities for personalization, efficiency, and innovative forms of teaching and learning. Francisco Javier Palacios- Hidalgo (él/he/him), Associate Professor, belongs to the Department of English and German Studies of the Universidad de Córdoba (Spain), where he teaches at the Faculty of Education Sciences and Psychology. He is a member of the Research Group HUM- 1122 ‘Research in Languages, Technology and Education’ (RELATED). His research focuses on the teaching of English as a foreign language, language and bilingual education teacher training, educational technologies, teacher digital literacy and queer pedagogy.
Carlos Lindade is a Portuguese-Canadian Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Porto (FLUP) and an experienced professional in English Language Teaching (ELT). He has a long record of training both pre- and in-service English Foreign Language teachers (EFL) and contributing to coursebook development for Portuguese learners of English. His research centers on ELT materials development, the pedagogical use of artificial intelligence in EFL teacher education, and technology-enhanced language learning (TELL). He combines classroom teaching, teacher training and research to support evidence-informed innovation in language education.
