Inhaltsangabe

Achieving equitable healthcare is one of the most critical challenges facing global society today, as systemic disparities continue to limit quality care for marginalized and underserved populations. Health outcomes are profoundly shaped by intersecting factors such as socioeconomic status, geographic location, race, gender, and policy environments. Addressing these disparities requires not only medical interventions but also structural reforms and interdisciplinary collaboration. Emerging technologies, universal healthcare models, and inclusive policy frameworks offer promising pathways for reducing inequality and improving health outcomes worldwide. Ensuring equity in healthcare ultimately strengthens societal resilience, promotes human dignity, and advances global well-being. Advancing Equity in Global Healthcare Systems explores the systemic barriers that perpetuate health disparities, particularly in marginalized and underserved communities, and presents innovative approaches to overcoming these inequalities. Drawing on interdisciplinary research from global health, public policy, sociology, and medical sciences, it highlights real-world case studies, emerging technologies, and policies that have proven effective in advancing equitable healthcare. Covering topics such as artificial intelligence, geriatric nursing, and health literacy, this book is an excellent resource for healthcare providers, public health officials, community health workers, administrators, researchers, academicians, policymakers, technology innovators, educators, and more.
