This book is specifically designed for SRTM University Nanded first-year graduate students who are taking Environmental Science as a Generic Elective or as part of Environmental Awareness courses, following the NEPA guidelines. The syllabus is structured into four main units, each focusing on different aspects of environmental science:
1. Introduction: Basic concepts of environment, ecology, ecosystems, biogeochemical cycles, biodiversity, and biotic components.
