Inhaltsangabe

This book is a pleasant, and hopefully inspirational, experience to accentuate your daily life. This volume may deepen our understanding of passages within The Bible, and draw the reader closer to the goal of conservation of nature. From birds, humanity can gain a better understanding of God, the Creator.

Appreciating the birds is a gift; a blessing. It is a reward to the faithful. Why would we ignore it? How could we?

I find it amazing that birds are one gift to humanity that we do not have to go and get. They truly do come to us. The seasons bring them to us, for us to observe and learn from…. Their conservation is a gift for many lifetimes.

“Man must feel the earth to know himself and [to recognize his values.]” (Charles Lindbergh)

“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.” (Native American proverb)

“…If we can teach our children to honor nature’s gifts, the joys and beauties of the outdoors will be here forever.” (Former President, James “Jimmy” Carter)

Birds enrich not only our knowledge of the world, but also our understanding of ourselves, brought down to windowpane-level. One can easily look outside and see the birds. Let it never be otherwise!

We should read and understand, so that we are all in the best position possible to “tend the garden,” as we are invited to do in Genesis.
