It was pure marketing brilliance on the part of Dr. Ott, a bio-robotic cybernetics scientist, who successfully influenced the school board into replacing all human teachers with his miracle invention of life-like bot-teachers. Is it Real or Robot? Only a few can tell. With this success he moved swiftly to replace all job positions in town. Everyone suffered, as he thrived. To keep his empire running smoothly, Dr. Ott declared certain death on anyone resisting, executing a slight twist of fabricated fear to oppress everyone into giving up, so he can tighten its bone crushing squeeze to suffocate the town.
The story begins Christmas Eve on the battlefield where a disruptive band of superheroes stand in defense of their hometown of Beachside Park, California. With no fanciful magic spell, they forge ahead with their superpower of ingenuity. It is here where the common uncertainty of life becomes laced with an overwhelming fear that creeps in to kill. Will they survive?
