I am a former Police Officer for Dorset Police in England. This book is a warts-and-all memoir that covers my career and the abusive marriage I escaped from at the cost of the relationship with my children due to my ex's false allegations made against me to Dorset Police. What followed, fellow officers described as the worst investigation they had ever seen, which, if it had not happened to me, I would not believe.

I primarily wrote it to inform people that it sometimes takes a while for the truth to be known. Police corruption is still happening, contrary to the noise made by various official bodies, and it's not just women who can be victims of domestic abuse; men can be victims as well, although most authorities and media ignore that fact.
