Bluegrass Mandolin Solos: Read Them As Is...and Between the Lines!

The solos continue here in Bluegrass Mandolin—Solos, Licks, and Tricks, Volume Two.

The level of difficulty starts at an intermediate stage, and winds up in a more advanced level by the end.

The entire book is played through in the free YouTube videos for Volume Two.

The book wraps up with a series of “Licks for the Mind’s File Cabinet,” extracting licks from throughout the book—having a library of licks to call up at will is the key to fluent improvisational skills.

So learn the solos verbatim, but don’t forget to read between the lines! Fill up those “folders”with new licks.
