Inhaltsangabe

Written in very accessible language, this is a follow-up to any conversion experience, linking actual, practical experience of living a Christian life, with a rich, deep, and far-reaching Bible-based theology. First published in 1990, it has been revised and updated, with new material added, for a new readership. Although some passages clearly reflect the time when it was first written, it remains remarkably relevant to today’s world – and hopefully a future world. It is a ‘must’ for all Christians (and others) who seek a deeper understanding of what life is all about and where meaning is to be found.

Recommendations for the 1990 edition include:
“Each chapter gives helpful and sharply focused application of the scriptures to contemporary Christian living. Our easy assumptions are challenged, whatever our spiritual tradition.”
From the then Principal of Trinity College, Bristol, the Rev David Gillett

“A valuable contribution to the most neglected ministry in the Church, the ministry of lay person to lay person”.
From the Rev. Gerard W. Hughes SJ

About the author
Marion Morgan was born in a London suburb during WW2 and worked in East London before moving to Bristol in 1967. She has always been involved in church life, both Anglican and Presbyterian, and was received into the Roman Catholic Church in 1969. After obtaining a BA degree in theology and a post-graduate diploma in pastoral theology, she worked in ecumenism for many years, at local, regional, national and occasionally international levels, after which she became a freelance journalist for the local free paper. She cared for her mother, who had multiple sclerosis, and then for an autistic adult until his death in 2021. Still involved in the music at her church, she writes from her wide experience of living a Christian life very much in the world.
