In this collection of poems published in the year of my 70th birthday you’ll find reflections on personal change, on lessons learned in a 50-year career in facilities management, and a record of my experiences with Parkinson’s over the last four years. The mood shifts between humour and despair, with detours through anger and optimism. It’s my hope that readers will enjoy the poetry for its own sake, perhaps think a little deeper about their own attitudes to change, and maybe learn something about what it’s like to live with a lifechanging neurological condition with over 40 symptoms and no cure.
