Ultimately, CAUGHT: A Kid with a Cup, is the story of a fork in the road that led author Vincent Murphy, a boy from the rough-and-tumble Boston housing projects, to a life in the arts that was more fulfilling and thrilling than he could have ever envisioned. His plays are published, and his groundbreaking book, Page To Stage: The Craft of Adaptation, the first systematic text on the work of adapting for the stage, was published by University of Michigan Press in 2013, and is used at professional theaters, playlabs, and universities around the globe.
