This collection of essays and accompanying poems was originally written to capture memories of growing up in Trinidad in a time of great flux in that nation’s history. Seen through the lens of almost fifty years of living in the Diaspora, the remembered past is presented as a series of time capsules filtered through both humour and nostalgia in relaying a culture in my homeland that is vibrant and colourful.
