In the mayhem of everyday life Barnaby is caught in a web. His brother is trying to find love, his sister is coping with stress and he's just trying work out who he should be.
Meanwhile, somebody steals some sports cars and they try to get Barnaby blamed. Their owner goes in search of the culprit. But he constantly gets it wrong and every time he tries he seems to fail.
In the background, some money is missing and a debt-collector gets involved. Only, with one disaster following another, he has to come up with a plan that will lead to success.
