Oswald was founded by a farmer three centuries ago. In the recent age it grew to an industrial height. It now stands as one of Unterai’s megaplexes. As it grew, like many cities, rumors and conspiracy theories grew with it.

For most of its inhabitants that is all they are, but for Jane, a simple office worker, she is suddenly sucked into the shadowy happenings of Oswald’s secret world. Now she is chased by a shadowy corporation--with unknown desires--and Erasers seeking to destroy her for her new-found knowledge of the shadows. She must rely on the help of Henry--a Paranoid who has been evading the Erasers for years--her own strength and cunning, as well as odd and unexpected allies if she is to survive in the endless chase of Paranoia.
