The Litany of Happiness (Rātib As-sa'adah) is a collection of dhikr (remembrance of Allāh) that the Sammani murids ought to recite every day after Subh [Morning] as well as Maghrib [Sunset] prayers. As a collection, it consists of verses from the Holy Qur’ān as well as adhkar, tasbīhāt (glorification of Allāh Subhānahū wa Ta‘ālā) and various du‘ā (supplications) which have been composed by Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayyib al-Bashir, the founder of the Sammaniyya Sufi order in the Sudan and Africa.

This edition of the Awrad of the Tariqa Sammaniyya Tayyibiyya has been published in a format to be read specifically for non-Arabic speakers and seekers of knowledge. It contains the original Arabic text plus transliteration and English translations in an easy to read line by line format.
