Anyone familiar with motorcycle magazines over the past 50 years knows that women riders have also been underrepresented. On the pages of those magazines, women are merely decoration, draped over bikes in skimpy outfits with dead looks in their eyes. Seen and not heard. Ornamentation.
We envision a bike culture that does away with the notion that women are motorcycle accessories or used solely for the purposes of being sexualized to sell bikes. That idea is well past its prime, and it is a time for a change. It is time that women riders represent themselves in whatever manner they wish.
