Nina is in a relationship with Carlos. So is Ken, and Nina and Ken are best friends. They have a situation that works for them but they've never gone on vacation together so they decided to take a cruise.

Levi is an escaped convict needing to flee the country. If he can stop killing people, this cruise to Mexico his victims provided him tickets for might just be his way out.

The dead bodies from the Santa Monica pier have come back to life, another strange effect of the green rain. They're walking across the ocean floor and heading for Mexico.
