Ghostlike - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Nick Greenwood is a ghostwriter, who'll take on any project as long as it pays - and even if it doesn't . . .

His chaotic professional life, as he juggles books for a superannuated rock star, a retired footballer, a narcissistic soap star, a 'reformed' gangster and a waspish octogenarian actress, is the easy bit.

Then there's his complicated relationship with his socially conscious son, the increasingly eccentric behaviour of his father, sessions with his exasperated therapist, a refugee lodger taking up residence and a sudden health scare. Thank goodness Grace, his upstairs neighbour with a disabled son, steps up to provide some heartfelt solace.

But then Nick is accused of two murders . . .

Andy Merriman's novel is a comic tour de force.
