Word, Name, and Blood—Three words in common use by people worldwide. For Christians however, these three words have a profound impact on our walk with God. All three of these words point directly to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Speaking of Jesus, the Holy Scripture associates him with the Word, the Name, and the Blood. “And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.” It is up to us to employ and utilize those powerful words in our daily walk with the Lord.
