Betty- retired early to help her husband Derek in his business. The business fails and the pair plunge into apathy and abandon their plans to travel. A chance meeting with Marie changes her attitude to life she encourages Derek into joining the team, they rekindle their marriage.
Chrissie- is an aging hippie, met her secret long-time lover rock star Zack, father of her daughter at the IOW festival.
Passes her time learning new skills but this is not enough until she joins Butterflies.
The business flourishes but despite being in their early sixties, all three women reach a point where they have to make huge decisions to change their lives again..
