About the Book and Author
A farmer’s relationship to nature and a man’s relationship to God are at the heart of Sediment. Modeled after Aldo Leopold’s A Sand County Almanac, this book of primarily prose poems examines the Midwest through the lenses of an amateur naturalist’s binoculars. With a keen eye, the author views wild places, boyhood, dreams, heroes, aspirations, and the irony of his existence.
Robert Coné is a regional author of more than twenty self-published books. His works include historical fiction and nonfiction, poetry, essays, and children’s literature. He lives in Kewanee, Illinois.
