Jehovah-Nissi means banner, flag or standard. A flag is a representation; it demands a respect. When you think of the American flag, there is a respect you have for it. It stands for freedom and so much more. How do you feel if someone just throws it down, steps on it and just disregards it as a piece of fabric.

The same is with Jehovah-Nissi. As we proclaim God as Jehovah-Nissi, we are proclaiming He is the banner that flies over our family and is the victory in the battle.
