Inhaltsangabe

In the heart of Houston, Texas where justice and corruption collide, Frank Hernandez is a decorated police officer turned dirty cop — finds himself entangled in a web of lies, betrayal, and survival. Pressured by the powerful Tres Flores cartel, Frank transforms confiscated marijuana into a thriving dispensary empire, jeopardizing his family and career. But when his son Caleb, a recent college graduate is arrested, Frank faces an impossible choice: protect his son or expose his own crimes.

As the walls close in, a determined journalist, a resilient trauma nurse, and a recovering detective seek truth and healing, revealing the human cost of corruption. From courtroom drama to cartel retribution, Rats and the Big Fat Pig chronicles the rise and fall of a man torn between redemption and ruin.

Based on true events in Houston, this story weaves humor, heartbreak, and hope into an unforgettable tale of family, justice, and second chances. January 2025, the Houston Police Department acknowledged its rat infestation of its marijuana evidence holding facility in Downtown Houston:
