This little book is designed to be read to young children. It explores the topic of ability and disability in a gentle light hearted way; how we all support and help one another in different times and circumstances.

'Scraggy, like many cats, has more than one home. When he gets
bullied for being small he finds a safe place with 'Aunty Sticks' who
understands him. Scraggy soon finds that Aunty Sticks needs him
as much as he needs her.

Scraggy's Tale is a story for young children, showing how being
different is not a barrier to friendship and that we are the helper
and helped at different points in our lives.

We hope this book will encourage conversations about disability,
difference and of course, how precious our pets are to us.
