This book was not born out of ambition, but out of grief.
It began with one poem—Eulogy of the First Butterfly—written with trembling hands and a cracked heart after losing my cousin. In his flight, his fall, his fire—I saw the echo of every soul who dares to transform.


Before this poetry collection came to life, I wrote a four-book series titled Intertwined Reincarnations—a journey of self-discovery, healing, and inner awakening. Though it stands apart from this work in theme and style, it marked the beginning of my voice as a writer. Eulogy of the First Butterfly, the poem that inspired this collection, was written in memory of my cousin and became the seed from which this book grew. While rooted in that moment, this collection is not solely about grief—it is an exploration of many lifetimes lived within one: love, trauma, healing, rage, awakening, and rebirth. Each poem is a portal, a page from the soul’s unfolding.
