Izzie is a young female Ibis that lives in Florida with her family. One day she decides she wants to see more than just the beaches near her home so she convinces herself to make a flight to a nearby town where she meets new Ibis. Some of which are very unique. She heads home having made new friends. She also now had new dreams for even more adventure.
One day, she comes across even more unique birds. Her desire to join them as they migrate brings her more new sights and memories than she ever could imagine. And, she learns all about a very unique breed of birds, snowbirds.
