Good News from the Book of Job: A Prophecy about Jesus Christ, the Tribulation, and the End of Satan - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Where is there good news in the Book of Job? It should be clear to us that the entire Word of God points to Jesus: He is the centre of Scripture and the Old Testament prepares the way for His coming. This also applies to the story and sufferings of Job. If we now change our perspective and read the Book of Job with this in mind, this poetic book suddenly becomes a prophetic book. In all the speeches, Job’s friends proclaim what God will do to the wicked, but we often don't realize that they are mainly speaking of the wicked in singular. In doing so, the friends put Job in the place of Satan and thus give us many insights into the End Times. This book also deals with topics such as:

• What does the story of Job have to do with Jesus?
• Why did Job have to go through all this?
• How can we live a blameless and righteous life like Job?
• What happens behind the scenes and how much power does Satan really have?
• Who is the fourth friend who appears out of nowhere and then disappears again without a trace?
• What does God want to tell Job in his final speech, which climaxes in the description of the Behemoth (an image for Jesus) and the Leviathan (which stands for Satan)?

And so, this difficult book becomes good news for us today, but especially during the time of the Great Tribulation because page after page it proclaims God's victory over Satan and his end.
