Over the past eight decades, the author has seen, heard and experienced a lot. He has passed through being merely old and has entered the hallowed position of elder. He is enjoying the delusion that this status means the other folks might be interested in his takes on the wide variety of subjects that have been informed by this lifetime of experience. This book therefore includes short essays on subjects from sports to politics to shoe stores to popular music to wine to generations to teens and everything in between – and more. Naturally not everyone will agree with everything he opines, but hopefully, everyone can find something to enjoy, and/or grind their teeth over.
