Inhaltsangabe

A hopeless bachelor, a beautiful girl, a sweet little old lady and an ugly dog...

When Michael inherits his gran's bungalow he discovers that, unbeknown to him, she's been looking after her friend's dog. A friend that he knows nothing about. As well as being the proud owner of a bungalow on Buttercup Gardens, he is now Monro's new guardian too.

Despite being a friendly animal, Monro is an ugly dog with a flatulence problem. Michael doesn't like dogs and quickly decides that he needs to reunite the needy, four legged mutt with it's rightful owner. He could never have imagined what a difficult task he was taking on.

What follows is not so much a road trip but more of a mooch around the neighbourhood. Michael's relentless quest for a dog-free life results in making new and strange friends, an embarrassing occasion involving grey underwear, a near death experience and a couple of weddings – and all because of Monro.

THE TROUBLE WITH MONRO is a highly amusing and heart-warming short story recounted through the voices of the five main characters.

Unashamedly naughty and laugh out loud funny.

Contains adult material and language. Not suitable for children.
