Over the past few years, a team of researchers and editors gathered to examine the evolution of the institution’s mission and invited different members of the GCU community to reflect upon their experiences. In doing so, the editorial team has collected numerous perspectives about the ways the Mercy charism has inspired us to live our mission. This effort has informed our writing of The Enduring Spirit of Mercy at Georgian Court University: Stories of the Past to Shape Our Future , a book that chronicles GCU’s saga through a series of essays, interviews, and personal reflections. As the university experiences the diminishing presence of Sisters of Mercy on campus, these different voices convey expressions of Mercy that can inspire and guide our future direction. We invite you to explore the contents of this book and reflect upon the ways that you can join in this work.
