Inhaltsangabe

Roman Catholicism is based on a “hyphen theology.” Hyphen theology means that two entities that initially appear to be opposites can be brought together in union, such as Holy Scripture and tradition, faith and reason, grace and nature, Christ’s sacrifice on the cross and the Eucharistic sacrifice, Christ and the saints. In contrast to this stands the fourfold Reformation principle of “sola”: sola scriptura (Scripture alone), solus Christus (Christ alone), sola gratia (by grace alone), sola fide (by faith alone).
In this book, the teachings of the Catholic Church are cited from original sources and evaluated in light of the Bible.
