In this poetry collection, the poems can be read as stand-alone works, or you can read them in order and they create a sort of love story where each of the Seasons--who are like Gods--is in love with the Season on either side of it. It tells of how their love and their angst create the weather that we have to endure and how their particular magic creates the Seasons as we know them.
