Brian was unhappy with the way he looked, he felt trapped inside a body he did not want, so, after taking many treatments over several years, he decided to do something about it.
Brian needed more money for a private operation, to do this he accepted a job as a labourer on a construction site, where older men worked, and who did not understand why Brian wore nail varnish and eye shadow.
Eventually, Brian got his wish to have another piece of his life jigsaw in place, so, after going to London and having his operation, Brian was finally happy with his new look.
The final pieces of the jigsaw for Brian was to get his old job back, but would he now be accepted, then getting his mother to accept him, and finally look towards his future, whatever that may bring.
