The ancient gods of Japan withdrew from interfering with the world to prevent the destruction of its inhabitants. However, their actions unwittingly created an evil that had been brewing for centuries. During the late Heian period, the dragon Hirakuryu awakened with the intent to destroy the world. The sun goddess Amaterasu has chosen a samurai to vanquish the dragon with her power. However, the samurai can use her power only after collecting all three of her treasures.
