A New Way of Doing Things, in truth two separate individual collections of poetry, published together and not separate.
The first half, which in itself is "A New Way of Doing Things" is a semi-mismatched colection of poems that don't really have set themes throughout, unless you wish to call personal healing and growth a set theme.
Personal healing, and reconciling with the fact that I cannot in good faith return to the place I grew up in.
The second half, "A Gospel for a New Age" is just that, The gospel of Matthew told in prose. Condensing down much of that work into prose, which is not unlike how it may have originally been shared. As Prose.
