The 'Humboldt Five' is a group of five missing and murdered women in a specific region of California. Eureka, and the surrounding area, is quite rural, booming with pot farms, and meth. It is also rife with cases of missing people - some victims of serial killers who have worked the area thoroughout the'80s, '90s, and onwards. Some of these victims have turned up dead months to years later - but a few of the victims have never been seen again once they'd disappeared.
