Sera and Idris - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Sera comes first in everything. Idris comes second. This is not coincidence - they have both noticed it is not coincidence - and neither of them has said this aloud. They are not friends. They are something more complicated: two people who understand each other completely and have therefore decided, by unspoken mutual agreement, to be rivals instead. But the school is changing. Corridors stretch on Tuesdays. The clock shows different times depending on where you stand. The portrait of the founder watches you from every angle. And when Sera and Idris finally compare notes in the library at eleven pm on a Wednesday, they discover something that changes everything - the school has been responding to them specifically, and it has been building toward a test that neither of them can pass alone. What follows is a journey through impossible rooms, ancient laboratories and a shifting labyrinth that demands not just intelligence but the one thing both of them have spent years avoiding: trusting someone else with the inside of their mind. A sophisticated, witty, and deeply felt story about rivalry, vulnerability, and the particular terror and relief of being truly known by someone who is your equal. Perfect for independent readers aged 10-13.
