But when the shuttlecraft crew encounters the charred remains of a Wollapian starship, the shuttle's computer begins acting up, an effect soon attributed to the discovery of blue slime hidden inside a panel.

It isn't long before similar ooze is discovered back on the Galactic Offspring. Suddenly, Andrew finds himself fighting to rescue his four kids from the clutches of the Bloboids while avoiding infection himself. Imagine his horror, then, when he learns how the Ph'mleez he's been serving alongside all this time hold the key to the Bloboids' origin. And if that weren't enough, another Wollapian vessel shows up to abduct Andrew at the same time, and offer him a warning. According to the Wollapians, an allegiance of intergalactic worlds has formed to end the Ph'mleezs' own expansion efforts.
