IS THERE A DESTINY OUT THERE WAITING FOR EACH OF US? Bob Leonard spent decades as a process analyst for a Fortune 50 corporation. He dismissed the idea of fate until a chance encounter with a mystical cow along California's Pacific Coast Highway in 1995 changed everything. On a hazy afternoon in a quiet cow pasture along Big Sur, one brief moment altered the course of his life. In the blink of that cow's eye, a middle-aged business professional began transforming into a committed animal rights activist. In the Blink of a Cow's Eye is Leonard's candid account of how Americans have viewed and treated animals over the past thirty years. Some stories will make you smile. Others may challenge your beliefs or bring a tear. Each offers a window into the plight of animals we share the earth with. How you react to them may tell you something about yourself.
