Hannah West was born and raised on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and loves to share its rich history with readers of all ages. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington's Creative Writing program and Watson School of Education. She is the author of Remarkable Women of the Outer Banks (The History Press, 2022) and Save Our Sand Dunes (NC Office of Archives and History, 2024). She lives with her husband and three children in Kill Devil Hills.
