What if the only way to save your son is to betray every part of yourself that still feels human? Prison has stripped Mitch Wilder of the illusions he once lived behind. In the cold routines and hard silences, he discovers a chilling truth: someone wants Darren Hoffman dead. The order is already in the hands of dangerous individuals, and the only man who can stop it is Mitch himself. But killing Pete Hoffman, the man who raised Darren, is a line Mitch cannot cross. Instead, he gambles on the smallest lifeline he has. A scrap of paper. A pen. And a plea entrusted to another inmate on the verge of release. Weeks must pass before he learns if his message reaches the right hands. Weeks before he knows whether his son is still breathing. Weeks before he discovers whether his last desperate act was enough. Book Six in the Honor Series, where mercy and survival collide behind steel bars. For readers who love stories of redemption flickering in impossible places. Enter Mitch's darkest chapter and witness the fragile hope he fights to protect.
